ℹ️How to import your InspectIt templates into ScribeWare

How to import your existing templates into ScribeWare

In order to import your existing template and library into ScribeWare, we’ll need a β€œsqlite” file from the mobile device you use InspectIt. The process for this varies depending on the platform you use.

iOS

  1. Open the β€œFiles” app

  2. Click β€œOn My iPhone”

  3. Click β€œInspectIt”

  4. You should see a file called β€œAHIT.sqlite3” or β€œInspectIt.sqlite3”. Select this file

  5. Click the share button at the bottom left.

  6. Select your email program to add it as an attachment to a new email

  7. Send this email to support@getscribeware.com, along with the name(s) of the templates you’d like for us to import!

Android

Unfortunately, many android devices are different, but this is the way we have found to work on most systems.

  1. Open Google Play store

  2. Download the X-Plore app

  3. Follow the path Internal Storage -> Android -> data -> com.inspectit.cloud.android.homereport

  4. You should see a file called β€œAHIT.sqlite3” or β€œInspectIt.sqlite3”. Select this file

  1. Click the share button at the bottom left.

  2. Select your email program to add it as an attachment to a new email

  3. Send this email to support@getscribeware.com, along with the name(s) of the templates you’d like for us to import!

If you can suggest any clarifications on the above instructions, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know how we can improve and what type of device you’re using.
